Responsibilities

• You assist the team in the development of IT solutions enabling the central Energy Markets digital platforms
• You pro-actively support new technology proof-of-concepts and modernize existing IT solutions
• You participate in driving the digital transformation agenda for our Energy Markets function
• You work in close cooperation with our Architecture, DevOps teams as well as Regional Solution teams
• You support in documenting models/applications in Confluence or Gitlab
• You communicate, network and build communities around technologies within of our Energy Markets function

Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled at university, preferably in computer science, engineering, physics, or other technical courses of study
• You have first experiences in programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, SQL)
• Basic knowledge around the Microsoft Azure technology stack (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Snowflake, PowerBI) or the willingness to familiarize yourself with it is a plus
• First knowledge or experience in creating optimization programs is advantageous
• Good understanding of energy markets is a plus
• You show strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• You are highly cooperative and are a true team player
• You are versatile in an international environment and are aware of intercultural differences
• You are business fluent in English, German is advantageous
